How do I prevent pilling?
Pilling are the little balls on your garment. This is a natural occurrence for both cashmere and wool. You will find that not all garments will pill, some pill more than others.
All natural fibres have their own chemistry that will differ from yarn to yarn. A good quality garment should not pill excessively.
Pilling is caused by friction of some sort, such as a seat belt, bag strap or even lining of a jacket. If you do find little balls, simply pick them off by hand or carefully cut the pills off. We would then recommend washing the garment by following the How do I wash my cashmere piece? section.
